Consummate professionals and excellent musicians, Lee Gray & Dixon Nacey formed 'Nacey Gray and The Resolutions' in 2012. They specialize in superb sounding duo covers with a unique twist – not your run-of-the-mill pub sing-along band (although they do take requests!) - they play all-live, with Lee crafting acoustic looped backing unique to each show and Dixon adding masterful electric guitar touches.

Their repertoire extends from The Beatles to The Killers, Black Keys to Blackstreet, UB40 to U2 and anything in between – music to suit any significant event, stylish party or important occasion; corporate event, wedding, cocktail, birthday, anniversary.

Hopefully we will get to do more gigs in NZ so we can get you onboard...'

Lee Gray (Lead Vocals, Acoustic Guitar, Loop Station)

Since moving to New Zealand in August 2011, Lee has become one of the most sought after performers on the Auckland music scene. Playing an average of three to four shows a week, his live performances are well polished and never fail to impress. His career began just over 10 years ago in the UK with the duo Woodface. After touring much of Europe he settled in Nice, in the South of France, playing throughout the French Riviera and providing entertainment for A-List celebrities such as Elton John, Leonardo DiCaprio and the Prince of Monaco.

Lee has provided the soundtrack to some of the top events at the most established venues Auckland has to offer. In 2014 he was awarded the Top Rated Award from ‘WeddingWise’ after receiving more 5 star ratings than any other musician in the country. He wrote and recorded the track Battle Scars for NZ Breast Cancer Association helping to raise money for cancer rehab, and recorded the official song for the 2015 FIFA U20s World Cup.

Lee has two solo albums to his name and is one half of the international recording duo ‘Lee Gray & The Beat’.

Widely regarded as one of the best and most versatile guitarists in the country, Dixon‘s twenty-year music career has seen him perform with New Zealand’s top jazz and pop musicians as a backing artist and session player, and international acts touring through New Zealand. He has recorded three albums (2008, 2011 and 2013) with the ‘Samsom Nacey Haines Trio’, the first of which was a finalist in the 2009 Jazz Tui of The Year Award.

He also leads The John Scofield Project, plays jazz with The Alan Brown Trio, rock-reggae with ‘dDub’, and Latin music with Santiago Soul Stars. He has recently been through USA, Australia, Canada, New Caledonia, Singapore, Fiji, The Cook Islands and Thailand with his music.
